    Seven chapters, each in its own era: prehistoric, ancient China, feudal Japan, the Wild West, the present, the near future and the distant future. Two hidden chapters tie them together.

  3. Time Twist: Rekishi no Katasumi de... - Zenpen

    1991 · Famicom Disk System

    Nintendo's Disk System adventure. A devil steals a time machine called the Time Belt, and a boy's soul is dragged into history after it. Japan only.

  4. Back to the Future

    1989 · NES

    Marty McFly in 1955, collecting clocks before his photo fades. The last stage is the DeLorean, timed to hit 88 miles per hour.

    1990 · NES

    Biff has locked items behind doors in three time periods. Marty puts each one back, burns the almanac, then gets a letter Doc wrote in 1875.

    The Super Famicom take on Part II: 1955, 1985 and 2015, a DeLorean between them, and Biff's sports almanac to find. Japan only.

    Rebels have stranded historical figures across time. Bill and Ted fetch each one home, and Bill leaves items in the past to help Ted along.

  8. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time

    1992 · SNES · Super Famicom

    Shredder throws the Turtles through a time warp, and they fight his army in the past and the future to get back to New York.

  9. The Lost Vikings

    1993 · SNES · Super Famicom

    Erik, Baleog and Olaf escape an alien zoo ship and get lost in different periods of time. Three Vikings, three skills, every level needs all of them.

  10. The Lost Vikings 2

    1997 · SNES

    Olaf pulls the wrong lever on a time machine. It keeps misreading the Vikings' banter, so every trip home lands them somewhere else, starting in Transylvania, 1437.

  11. Time Lord

    1990 · NES

    Aliens invade four eras of the past, 1250, 1650, 1860 and 1943, to make the present easier to conquer. You have until 1 January 3000 to stop them.

    1993 · SNES

    In 2147 aliens plan to stunt human weapons by changing the past. A scientist takes an untested time machine back to stop them, and its energy bar must be kept full.

    Captain Lambert chases fugitives from the future who want to change history, and his stunner sends them back where they came from.

    Set after the film: stop the inventor of time travel across 1920s New York, the European front of World War II, the present and a dystopian future Los Angeles.

    Bowser has stolen artefacts from history. Mario takes them back to the right moment, and learns some history on the way.

  18. Pac-In-Time

    1995 · SNES · Super Famicom

    The Ghost Witch sends Pac-Man back to his youth in 1975, five years before his debut, and he has to platform his way back to the present.
